What is Allied Health Assistance?

Allied Health assistants have the role of providing both clinical and administrative support to Health Professionals.

Allied Health assistants may work under several professionals including but not limited to Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Speech Pathologists or dieticians.

Some of their duties include undertaking prescribed programs from treating professionals, delivering group sessions, reporting on progression or changes in health status, appointment scheduling, program documentation, equipment sourcing, preparation and practice.
