I’m a Connect Therapy Occupational Therapist with Kerin Health. I’m also an Accredited Lymphoedema Practitioner.

We’re excited to announce that Kerin Health is now accepting referrals for lymphoedema treatment and management! 

Our services are provided through a shared care model involving both an OT and Physiotherapist, ensuring our clients receive holistic, evidence-based care that supports independence, function, and quality of life.

What is Lymphoedema Treatment?

Kerin Health is now accepting referrals for Lymphoedema treatment and management. Our services are delivered by a Multidisciplinary team operating under a shared care model, which includes an accredited Lymphoedema Practitioner Occupational Therapist and a Physiotherapist.

Interventions Provided Include:

  • Comprehensive lymphoedema assessment

  • Education on self-management strategies

  • Skin care guidance

  • Measurement and prescription of compression garments

  • Manual lymphatic drainage (MLD)

  • Exercise prescription tailored to lymphoedema management

  • Ongoing monitoring and support for chronic management

Referral and Funding Options

  • Medicare (EPC/Chronic Disease Management Plan) – Please ensure both Occupational Therapy and Physiotherapy boxes are ticked on the referral to allow shared care.

  • NDIS (Plan-Managed and Self-Managed Participants)

  • DVA (Department of Veterans’ Affairs)

  • MAC (My Aged Care)

  • Private Health Insurance (rebates dependent on individual cover)

  • Private
